For our third course, Chef Frank treated us to Braised Wild Boar, Saffron & Rosemary Sauce, Sweet Potatoes that are making my mouth water just thinking about them, Smoked Melted Leeks, Mache and this delicious dish was paired with a mouthwatering red, Arinzano "Hacienda De Arinzano" Tinto, Rioja, so silky and elegant. The Penedes region is recognized for quality white wines. Excellent! Mary paired this course with a delicious chardonnay, Jean Leon 3055, Penedes. So cool! Second course included Butter Poached Monkfish, Romesco Verde, Tarragon Essence, Spanish Chorizo Powder, "Escabeche" Style Kale, Kumquats, some were candied. She literally brought out a map of Spain and began telling us about the region which is renowned for its white wines made from the Albariño grape variety. Chief Wine Officer, Mary Watson-DeLauder paired this course with a Bodegas Fillaboa Albarino, Rias Baixas. For our first course, talented Executive Chef Frank Estremera prepared Marinated White Boquerones, Iberico Shavings, Seven Minute Egg, Smoked Idiazabal Cheese Foam, Frisee Lettuce, Piquillo Peppers. That’s my experience, not sure will repeat it again. Whenever I escalate they don’t take actions. For the meal before sunset it was easy to take it with dinner but for the one before sunrise they never helped me for it. I requested a dietary supplement on arrival as it is in Ramadan and asked them to prepare 2 meals for me after sunset and before sunrise. I mean the room service is good and clean. The only positive thing is that this hotel is really clean. ![]() I think because it is a conference center where workshops can be easily done so this was the reason of the destination choice, in addition that the hotel can accommodate A lot of rooms. This time the selection of the hotel was really bad. Although I work in a big American company which used to book in 5 stars hotels for its events. I visited this hotel on business with my company in May.
